CSI has effectively represented numerous health care clients in need of greater exposure and Washington muscle. Among them, Focus On Therapeutic Outcomes (FOTO) a national outcomes database for the rehabilitation therapies, has benefited considerably by Connolly's leadership and lobbying. With the assistance of CSI, the client is now a player in the Medicare arena, and has been called upon by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for advice, counsel and expertise as CMS searches for a reliable replacement for the Medicare therapy cap. Through Connolly's advocacy, FOTO received a grant from CMS to conduct a pay-for-performance feasibility study for the rehab therapies. |
